Care and Maintenance |

Daily Cleaning Silestone surfaces will retain their sheen for a great many years and the only maintenance required is regular washing with clean, hot soapy water to remove surface dirt. Stains Spillage's such as wines, oils and acidic substances (eg vinegar) should be wiped clean immediately. If necessary, use a small amount of non-abrasive & non-bleach cleaner Whitehall offers a care and maintenance kit and would strongly recommend that one be purchased with every worktop. Heat Resistance Silestone is highly heat resistant and hot pans can be placed directly on to the surface for short periods, however Whitehall recommends the use of a trivet instead. Scratching As with any high quality worksurface care should be taken. The use of a chopping board is recommended.
