Maia accessoriesDecorative support panels - available in all décors with either 45mm or 100mm depth. These help to create a framed look to your kitchen or are perfect for breakfast bar supports. Each panel has the decorative surface on both large faces and is supplied 897mm wide. If the end panel is to be used at the end of a 600mm or 650mm worktop the panels are easily cut down to suit.  Edging is provided in the pack.  Maia decorative support panels are suitable for use purely as end panels or to support a worktop or breakfast bar.

Upstand – an upstand creates a simple, clean look in your kitchen and is easily combined with splashbacks where used. Maia upstands are manufactured from 10mm thick material and are easily fixed to the wall with silicon adhesive.

Maia accessoriesFull length splashback – for a contemporary, streamlined look in your kitchen simply add a splashback instead of tiling.

Hob splashback – for the hardworking area behind the hob or for smaller applications this compact sheet could be the perfect solution.

Plinth – co-ordinating plinths are available to complete the maia look. The plinth is made up of the 3mm maia surface bonded to an MDF board. The 3.6m length is longer than conventional plinths so can often be useful in avoiding joints on longer runs of cabinets.

Maia accessoriesHot rods – a set of six stainless steel effect worktop protector rods with self-adhesive backing for simple fitting.

Chopping board – maia chopping boards are available to blend in or contrast with your worksurface. We would always recommend using chopping boards to protect the maia surface.

• Jointing kit (bolts, tongues, 75ml adhesive sachet and 3 grades of sandpaper and Scotch-Brite™ to finish).  For each joint in your installation, you will need a jointing kit.  The kit has been developed to include everything that you need to complete the joint.  The sandpapers and Scotchbrite are exactly as we use in preparing the surface in the factory. To help ensure a clean joint for perfect bonding, the small sachet wipes are impregnated with isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt and grease.

• 75ml sachet adhesive.  The two part adhesive sachet is the same as is used in the jointing kit.  You will need one of these sachets if you are applying additional edging.  Once you have prepared your edging the adhesive is simply mixed inside the sachet to activate the hardener then, with a corner of the sachet cut off, the adhesive can be simply piped onto the surfaces to be bonded.  Once mixed and opened there is a working time of around 7-10 minutes before the chemical process of hardening starts and the adhesive is not workable.

• 250ml tube adhesive.  For use on larger installations or for regular installers the 250ml adhesive is for use with the special applicator gun.  The adhesive is mixed to the correct ratio in the nozzle.  Spare nozzles are included with each new cartridge and are also available for purchase separately.

• 250ml applicator gun.  This is needed if you are using the 250ml adhesive cartridges.

• Additional edge strip (1200mm).   Don’t forget that each worktop is supplied with a length of edging.

• Stainless steel finish worktop protector rods (pack of six).  Prevention is better than cure.  6 rods are included in each set.  Dimensions approx 300mm length 12mm wide.

• Chopping board.  390x310x10mm

• Maia Care Kit (Countertop Magic, ergonomic foam sanding block, microfibre cloth, 2 x 320 grit sandpaper, 2 x Scotch-Brite™).  This boxed set of items is an invaluable aid to maintaining your maia worktop particularly in hard working kitchens and for darker colours.
